One pan pea and chicken dinner…hey that could be the name!
The amounts will depend on how many people you are feeding. I have a gluten free version and gluten version.
Things you need
1 bag frozen peas
chicken boobs cut into cubes
oriental noodles (gluten free use rice noodles) Udon style, Nanka Seimen brand is our favorite.
Hoisin sauce (2 or more tablespoons)
For two people I use:
1/3 bag peas
3 half breasts
1/2 package noodles or more depending if I want leftovers
same amount of hoisin sauce
Start a pot of water on the stove that will hold noodles and give you a little more room to a boil. Cut chicken boobs into cubes, about an inch square. Open you bag of peas, the amount will depend on how many people.
When water is boiling add peas and chicken. Cook about five minutes. Add oriental noodles to peas and chicken, cook according to noodle instructions. (average 7-10 minutes)
Drain everything together. Put everything back in the pot.
Add Hoisin sauce. Taste, if you want more flavor add more sauce.
Stir and serve
These are things you can do to change up the dinner:
add toasted sesame seeds, chopped green onions, sliced hard boiled egg
