Dutch Babies…..a fun breakfast dish that will surprise folks when you pull it out of the oven

oven 425 degress
Lemons and powdered sugar

For 2-3 people                             For 4 people

1/4 Cup butter                                  1/2 Cup Butter

3 Eggs                                                   5 Eggs

3/4 Cup  milk                                     1 1/2 Cup Milk

3/4 Cup flour                                     1 1/2 Cup Flour

Melt butter in a pie pan in the oven. But do not let it burn. 🙂

Put eggs in a blender turn on high and run for 4 minutes. With motor running slowly add milk then slowly add flour. Mix for 30 seconds more. Pour batter into hot pie pan and bake 20-25 minutes.
The fun part is watching it “grow” in the oven….don’t open the door just a sneak peak through the window.

After it is done squeeze lemon juice all over and dust with powdered sugar.

Fresh blueberries or strawberries are great with this too.
